THE COIN THAT TEACHES YOU THE HISTORY OF JUNETEENTH
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the late Alvin E. Edwards and Opal Lee, Juneteenth has garnered federal recognition and inspired Deborah to create a distinctive coin.
Deborah's Juneteenth coin stands out with its remarkable features. On the reverse side, it pays homage to the historical significance of Juneteenth, while the front side showcases a liberty bell representing freedom and hands-breaking chains symbolizing liberation. The bottom rim of the coin signifies independence, and the outer edge lists names used before the establishment of Juneteenth. These coins are available in three captivating colors: bronze, gold, and a captivating blend of gold and silver. They hold immeasurable sentimental value and can be cherished as precious heirlooms, passing down their profound meaning from generation to generation.
Deborah's aim with the Juneteenth coin is to foster education and nurture empathy towards our ancestors and humanity as a whole. History plays a vital role in shaping our collective identity, and Juneteenth stands as a celebration for all. This coin serves as a meaningful gift, supporting organizations that promote knowledge and history to present and future generations. Each individual's contribution to spreading awareness creates a ripple effect of education and inspiration.
Deborah's mission is to empower present and future generations by imparting knowledge and fostering a deep understanding of history. We kindly request your support in sharing information about our Juneteenth coin with your friends, organizations, and individuals actively involved in promoting historical awareness. Your partnership in raising awareness about the significance of our coin is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your invaluable support.
Deborah LaPearl’s careful hands-on approach serves her just as well today as a
Fashion Designer as it did as an Architect. A professional designer for over 25
years, LaPearl has created designs ranging from intricate buildings to detailed garments
and accessories. LaPearl is a multi-talented designer with many unseen talents.
She has designed for well-known companies such as O Oscar, Anne Klein, Calvin

In addition, Deborah LaPearl is known as the first designer who created and
trademarked “Obama Legacy Coin,” which honors President Obama’s entire term of
2009-2017. We are all a part of this legacy. The coin allows Obama supporters to hold a
piece of history and tell their story.
Deborah also created a coin honoring the recent national holiday Juneteenth. What
makes her coin unique is that the reverse side of this coin acknowledges the valuable
history of Juneteenth. The front of this coin shows a liberty bell for liberty. Hands with
broken chains for freedom. The bottom of the coin’s rim defines independence. The
outer edge of this coin gives some of the names used before. This particular day was
called Juneteenth.
Deborah’s coin can be used as an heirloom to pass down to present and future
generations. The purpose of Deborah’s Juneteenth coin is to teach history and
acknowledge empathy and compassion for our ancestors and all of humanity.
History strengthens our future.
